Who we are
This website is operated by the Committee to Elect Samuel Polo Pierre (“the Committee”), a candidate committee registered with the Massachusetts Office of Campaign and Political Finance.
What we collect
Information you give us when you sign up, volunteer, request a sign, or donate: name, mobile number, email, ZIP code, interests, the language you chose, and the consent language you agreed to. We also record the date, time, page and IP address of each signup so we can prove your consent if asked. Our website assistant and text line keep conversation transcripts for up to 90 days to improve answers and to route questions to a volunteer.
How we use it
To send you campaign updates, event and volunteer reminders, and voting information by the channels you agreed to; to answer your questions; to comply with campaign-finance law; and to run the campaign. We do not sell your information. We do not share it with other campaigns or political committees.
Text messages and calls
We send texts and automated or prerecorded calls only to people who have given prior express written consent, and only between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m. You can withdraw consent at any time by replying STOP to any text or by emailing us. See our SMS Terms.
Donations
Donations are processed by a third-party payment processor. Massachusetts law requires us to report the name, address, and, for contributions over $200, the employer and occupation of every contributor to OCPF, where it becomes public record.
Who we share with
Service providers that help us run the campaign (hosting, text messaging, payment processing, voter-file tools) under contracts that limit how they use the data; and government agencies when the law requires it.
Your choices
Ask us to see, correct or delete your information at any time. Reply STOP to end texts. Unsubscribe links appear in every email.
Children
This site is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
We will post any changes here with a new effective date.
